The Women’s Council of REALTORS® Austin is excited to announce its newly elected 2027 leadership team following elections held July 24 at FBS Appliance in Austin. The vote marks another milestone for an organization that has spent years building a reputation as one of the Austin real estate community’s most active networks for leadership development and professional growth.
The 2027 officers are:
Ashley Hesch – President
April Guerra – President-elect
Sherri Monroe – First Vice President
Ashley Long – Treasurer
Laura Finkenbinder – Membership Director
Each of these women brings her own experience and perspective to the table, and together they represent the kind of collaborative leadership Women’s Council has long been known for. From guiding strategic direction as president to shepherding new members through the onboarding process as membership director, every role on the team plays a part in keeping the organization’s programming fresh, relevant and welcoming.
This talented group of leaders is looking forward to an exciting year of continued growth, connection and professional development for the Austin real estate community. Women’s Council of REALTORS® Austin remains committed to building strong leaders, creating meaningful relationships and providing opportunities for members to grow both personally and professionally. That mission doesn’t start and stop with elections — it’s woven into everything from monthly meetings to statewide conferences to the mentorship that happens quietly between members throughout the year.
Still Ahead in 2026
But before we look ahead to 2027, there is still plenty happening in 2026!
At the end of August, members of the 2026 Board will head to San Antonio for the Shaping Texas State Conference, where leaders from across the state will come together to connect, learn and prepare for the future of Women’s Council and issues shaping the real estate industry in Texas. Conferences like this one give Austin’s outgoing and incoming leadership a chance to trade notes with their counterparts from other chapters, bringing fresh ideas back home that often shape local programming for the year ahead.
REALTOR® Safety Event Coming in September
